Hi,

I’m Jutta “Heather” Schneider – an artist, teacher, and curious mind based in the middle of Germany. My creative world spans both digital and traditional media: I love working on my iPad just as much as sketching with a real pen, splattering ink, or playing with textures on paper.

My classes and tutorials focus on style and technique – often inspired by art history, pop culture, or simply everyday weirdness. I especially enjoy breaking complex visual styles down into accessible steps, whether we’re recreating a mid-century print look or drawing quirky monsters in bold lines.

Along the way, I’ve found that drawing can be more than just a creative outlet – it’s also a surprisingly effective tool for slowing down, reducing stress, and reconnecting with yourself. That’s why I often include elements of mindful drawing and self-care in my work.

I also create and share free resources like brush sets, palettes, and templates to support other artists – both on YouTube and in my classes.

When I’m not drawing, I’m probably thinking about my next class topic, taking photos of things that inspire me, or analyzing colors in old cookbooks.

Let’s stay in touch!

Fun Fact: I learned English back in the days watching the legendary Bob Ross in his “The Joy of Painting” Series, which aired in Germany undubbed.
